Dave Schulgen - President (Airstreams, LLC, AMC, ATS)
Dave Schulgen formed Airstreams LLC in 2002 and for over 22 years Dave has been involved in nearly all areas of wind energy.
- Director of Field Operations for Commercial Americas with Enron and GE Wind responsible for the O&M for all wind projects in North America
- Director of Manufacturing responsible for the assembly of all Enron Wind Commercial Americas 1.5 megawatt turbines
- Multiple manager and supervisory positions throughout his 22 years.
- Responsible for the commissioning and operations of over 1500 megawatts of wind power projects.
Jeff Duff - Vice President (Airstreams, LLC, AMC, ATS)
Jeff Duff is Vice President of Airstreams LLC and Airstreams
Maintenance Corp. For the last 7 years Jeff's experience has extended
to all areas of wind power working for industry leaders such as:
- System Performance Manager with GE Wind responsible for monthly technical reviews, RCA support and analysis, operations and service reporting, customer relations for over 1700 MW of wind turbines.
- Technical Analyst with Zond/Enron Wind responsible for wind and turbine analysis, engineering support for a growing fleet of hundreds of owned and operated turbines throughout the world.
- Jeff has as MS in mathematics and BS in Economics.
- Jeff has been active in the industry, member of the 1.5 and 750 owners groups, presenter at the 2004 AWEA conference. Since 2003, Jeff has applied his analytical skills at Airstreams to help build it into a recognized name for quality and technical expertise.
- Jeff was also affiliated with US Bureau of Land Management prior to 2000, working with their wildfire agency. Jeff helped to build some of the national wildfire monitoring, budgeting, and predictions systems currently used today.
Mike Messier - Vice President (Airstreams Training Services, LLC)
Mike Messier is Vice President of Airstreams Training Services, LLC.
For over 19 years Mike has been involved in nearly all areas of wind
power working for industry leaders such as:
- Supervisor of training within Zond Service Dept.
- Manager of Installation & Commissioning for both Enron Wind Corp and GE Wind Energy where Mike maintained the responsibility of installing and commissioning over 1,700 MW of projects within the Americas,
- Global Manager of Methods and Processes responsible of managing global Installation, Commissioning, Blade Services & Anemometry teams.
- Operations Director for Clipper WindPower,
- Director of Environmental Health and Safety / Training for Clipper WindPower.
Rowland Griese - Manager Palm Springs
Rowland currently leads our efforts at Mesa Wind and the Palms Springs
Region where we have brought 125 turbines back online which were not
operated for nearly 3 years. For over 20 years Rowland has worked in
O&M for industry (Zond, Enron, GE Wind) where his experience lead
to the following roles as:
- Manager, Site Supervisor (Whitewater Project, Mesa Project)
- Due Diligence Inspection Lead
John Nemila - Manager Tehachapi
John currently leads our quality control storage maintenance for the
120MW Pine Tree project in Mojave. For over 22 years John has worked in
O&M for industry (Zond, Enron, GE Wind) where his experience lead
to the following roles as:
- GE Wind Regional Manager
- Manager, Site Supervisor Tehachapi
- Due Diligence Inspections
Gary Dearing - Lead Man Tehachapi
Gary
currently assists with our quality control storage maintenance for the
120MW Pine Tree project in Mojave. Gary started in the wind business in
2001 working with GE Wind where his experiences lead to the following
roles as:
- Supervisor Assembler
- Quality Inspection Lead
- Due Diligence Inspections
Mark Fisher - Lead Performance Analyst
Mark joined Airstreams in 2006 as part of our performance management team. Mark's ingenuity has led Airstreams into becoming a premier analytical group. Mark has been involved in the wind industry since 2001 with:
- Industry leaders such as Enron Wind, and GE Wind.
- Mark helped to develop many of the advanced techniques currently used by GE Wind.
- Mark has presented posters at the AWEA conferences in 2004 and 2007.
- Mark has a PhD in Mathematics Education specializing in statistical analysis. He also has an MA in Mathematics and a BS in Physics.
Kim Carter - Technical Training Specialist
Kim joins Airstreams Training Services with over 10 years in the wind industry having worked in the Training Dept. and O&M for industry (Zond, Enron, GE Wind). Kim is currently assisting in the development and implementation of our safety and technical training programs.
- Lead development of the first 1.5 Training Course and Material
- Instructor for the 1.5 WTG Technical Classes for 6 years including practical training
- Managed the Digitization of the Skill Based Matrix Program for the hourly employees on the GE side
- Administrator for the GE MyLearning digital based training site available to employees.
- Perform GEIS Converter Training
- Commissioned 1.5 MW WTG's / Final Inspection and first connection to grid
- Developed Aptitude Exams for Entry Level Employees
- Facilitator for the GE Americas Skill Based Matrix Support Central site and Co-Facilitator for the Americas Wind Training Support Central site
