Airstreams Renewables Inc. is proud to offer wind technician safety training and advanced wind technical training necessary to succeed in the wind energy operations, maintenance and wind turbine construction sector.

Our Tehachapi Learning Center is located at 101 Commercial Way Tehachapi, California 93561. The Tehachapi Learning Center consists of approximately 2500 square feet of classrooms and offices on the second floor with a total capacity of 32 students. Our classrooms are equipped with hands-on lab equipment and tools of the trade so students can connect classroom theory practical field experience.

Tehachapi has long been recognized as the birthplace for wind energy in the US. Students are surrounded by the span of history as they learn from some of the industry's best and brightest instructors. Students will spend approximately 5 days in the field completing industry recognized safety certifications in tower rescue and height safety.

Our Midwest Learning Center is in the final stages of completion, located in Gary, South Dakota at the Buffalo Ridge Resort which offers convenient accommodations for students in the heart of the Midwest renewable energy corridor. The Midwest Learning Center offers a unique setting for students to take our height safety courses related to both the wind technician and wind turbine construction arenas.

Airstreams Technical Institute for Renewable Energy - Our new state of the art training facility in Tehachapi is currently under construction and we expect to begin offering enrollment at the new facility for Winter/Spring of 2009/2010 sessions. The new training center will expand on our current interactive approach with the addition of a turbine, advanced hydraulic stations, converter/controller stations and an indoor fall protection and rescue training platform.

Airstreams Renewables, Inc. and the Rural Learning Center located in Howard SD, have created a close partnership to provide advanced renewable energy courses at their facility as well as in remote locations in South Dakota.  This joint partnership will provide students with one of the most advanced and accelerated renewable energy training programs found in the United States today.
